Damon Kessler joined Gate Gourmet in 2013 and is currently serving as an Area Executive Chef of the Eastern region of the US. He has 14 kitchens in his network and is based in New York.
Damon comes to Gate Gourmet with a wealth of knowledge for the Airline industry working with as many as 75 international airlines. His experience includes over 15 years in the airline industry running Multiple inflight kitchens, high volume inflight kitchens, high profile events (Formula one, ) Menus Development, Workshops and join events with Celebrity & Michelin stared chefs locally and abroad, some of the high profile airlines Damon has developed for are British Airways, Alitalia, Asiana, Swiss, Lufthansa ,Air France and Open skies just to name a few.
Prior to joining Gate Gourmet Damon was Corporate Executive Chef -Operations and Design for Flying food group. he also worked for Do & Co International as Executive Chef where he began his career in Airline catering.
Prior to the Airline catering Damon worked in various NYC restaurants- American Place -Larry Forgione & Vong- Jean-Georges
He is a graduate from Johnson and Whales University with a degree in Culinary Arts.
