Christian Pratsch CMC | Director, Culinary Development & Operations Norwegian Cruise Line

Spanning 20+ years of experience in hospitality and the culinary arts, certified Master Chef Christian Pratsch currently is employed as Corp. Director, Culinary Operations and Development for Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), overseeing over 280 dining options aboard a fleet of 17 vessels, which operate world-wide.

A native of Germany, Chef Pratsch began his career with an apprenticeship at InterContinental Hamburg and after being deployed with the German navy ship F218 Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Before joining NCL as Corp. Executive Chef Research/Development, he oversaw Mandarin Oriental, New York’s and Residences at Mandarin Oriental, New York’s culinary program. Chef Pratsch further held executive posts aboard The World – Residences at Sea, at InterContinental Miami, InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa, InterContinental Mark Hopkins and Raffles Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Hamburg as well as ships including Sea Cloud II and MS Europa.
